Messageboard Signature Graphics

Liven up your forum posts

Many of our members, and indeed the forum staff, personalise their messages in the Pad with signatures that include pictures or photos. If you've always wanted a messageboard signature but don't know how to create one, or are having trouble finding a site to store the graphic on (as so many free hosting companies are disallowing offsite sourcing - i.e. storing a graphic on their site but using code to display it on another one), we're here to help!

We'll host your graphic for free!

As a "thank you" to our regular contributors MovieForum.com will host your signature graphic here on the website, compress it so the file size is reduced so that your messages load quickly, and provide you with the code to include in your signature file. So you don't even have to learn HTML if you don't want to.

We'll even help you make it!

You don't even need to create your own graphic. You can choose to have one of the ones from our Gallery customised, or ask Cat or our friends at Pandora's Realm (a wonderful forum on Delphi that is devoted to graphics) to help make something unique to you, or even teach you to create your own. The graphic doesn't have to be film related, though they're always fun as we are a movie forum after all <G>

All we ask in return is that you regularly contribute to the forum by posting on our messageboard. It's as simple as that. Of course if you'd like to spread the word and include a link to the Pad in your signature (we can provide the code for you), or perhaps add us to your Favorite Forums list in your forum profile, we'd love it. However it's not a requirement as we want this to be something useful to you and not place you under any obligation. Your contributions to the forum are commitment enough :-)

Terms and Conditions:

1. The member must post regularly in movie related discussions within our forum, and use the hosted graphic in their message signature. If this condition is not met the graphic will be removed from the server. One warning will be given beforehand. The graphics will be retained by MovieForum.com in the event the member was offline for a legitimate reason (e.g. on vacation).

2. One graphic will be hosted per membername. This may change at a later date.

3. The graphic has to comply with our forum rules and not feature copyright material that you don't have permission to use.

4. The graphic must not be too big (in file size or dimensions). We'll judge them as we see them on this :-)

5. MovieForum.com reserves the right to update the conditions, or stop this service, if we feel it is being abused by our members in any way. Notice will be given, in the forum, of any changes to the above.
