Movie Picks
The Addams Family (USA 1991)
A dark and wittily comic movie version of the much loved TV show (and,
of course, the original Charles Addams' cartoons). Christina managed
to steal the show, as young Wednesday, from the perfectly cast Angelica
Huston (Morticia) and Raul Julia (Gomez). Highlight? The
Girl Scout Cookies scene.
Addams Family Values (USA, 1993)
Ignore the nanny from hell (Joan Cusack) storyline and just
revel in Wednesday's end of Summer Camp show. Revenge never sounded
or looked so good!
The Ice Storm (USA, 1997)
Whether it's her unique Thanksgiving Grace ["(thank you) for all
the material possessions we have and enjoy. And for letting us white
people kill all the Indians and steal their tribal lands..."], or
playing "I'll show you mine if you show me yours", Wendy Hood is one
teenager to be reckoned with.
The Opposite of Sex (USA, 1998)
With her bleached hair and heavy make-up as Dedee Truitt this is a
Christina that at first seems unrecognisable. However the first class
performance gives her away. Dedee is a totally devious little madam,
but you can't help but care about her fate. And she knows it!
Small Soldiers (USA, 1998)

Okay so we only get to hear her, but I bet Christina had a ball voicing
the Gwendy Dolls from Hell in Joe Dante's "the toys fight back" movie.
Personally I'm rather fond of said film, as those of you that read my
Oscars®
theft feature can probably tell ;-)
Sleepy Hollow (USA, 1999)
Starring opposite Johnny Depp in a Tim Burton movie -
need we say more? Wonderful from start to finish and a great showcase
for Christina as the mysterious Katrina Van Tassel.
